Jaxson – Lubbock Child Photography

Oh, man.. When I first walked through the door of Jaxson’s house, I was extremely nervous it wasn’t going to work out. He didn’t want ANYTHING to do with me!! But I took in a slow, deep breath and decided to wait it out. I held my camera down and watched as he buried his head into his mom’s shoulder. If I picked up the camera, he was even more shy. I decided to hide it away for a little while. All of a sudden Jaxson burped and I gasped. What else what I supposed to do?? I let out a big burp myself!! He laughed and our photo shoot was ON. His mom is such an inspiration because she waited for her son for years and years. After being told she couldn’t have children, one day…she was shocked to find out she could, in fact! Because growing inside her was this precious boy so full of light in his eyes. The book shown below talks about how these two people in love have everything they could ever want. They have each other, adventure, and wealth. Yet something was missing. Something they couldn’t figure out. They decided to leave their castle and riches behind and move into a cottage. There, they had a baby boy and watched him grow. The boy shows them simple wonders— ”A smooth-polished pebble, a fiery leaf”—and teaches them to slow down and appreciate the world’s magic. Now content, they tuck him in each night and declare, “Nothing is better than this.”
